Both stud rams, semen and the purchase of embryos have been used to improve the genetic base at Jardene Stud. Pictured above is 'Patton'. Patton was sired by 'Sir Douglas' - a highly recommended ram out of the Bulbari stud.

A West Australian Ram "Bear" was purchased in 2002 from the Gracefield stud and used to begin the build up of the Jardene Stud. Bear is a massive ram with a huge hindquarter.
Also used has been semen from Rockdale 020017 and Rockdale 02008 - Two champion rams from Western Australia. Semen has also been used from Jeancourt 0146.
In 2004 20 embryos from New South Wales Stud "Darbi" were purchased and led the initial build up of the Jardene Pure SAMM Stud.
